ReplyDeleteAre you sure? Because I have played the game and finish it with this fix.
1. You must already have skidrow crack (v.1.0)to use this, make sure you do!
2. Make sure your game is located inside steam!
3. Make sure your game is full version, nothing ripped nothing repacked!
4. "STEAMSTART" does not create for skidrow, if you do have above things in order! And make sure once you update, replace files with skidrow fix!
5. If you still encounter the problem, give more details about you specs/release!

The Black Ops is a SKIDROW release and i recently installed a crack that let me play zombie mode in solo.I dont have steam account neither have i installed steam.please guide me from here on.

ReplyDeleteInstall Steam first, (steam does not require to play however it is required for MP) Install game to your steam path! Since u say u r new to steam here's the path,
X:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\CoDBO\
This could change depending where u have installed steam.
However Parts"\SteamApps\Common\" will remain same!
Once installed, If u do have skidrow, apply the skidrow crack which came with the ISO.
Now apply the update! Your game will now detect and will work fine! Just make sure after update apply the fix given in our post!
Still not working.I copied the entire content of the game in "CoDBO" folder,replaced all the content with SKIDROW updatev1.0 and ran the Call.of.Duty.Black.Ops.Update.1
ReplyDeletesetup that was included in the rar file provided here.Still getting the same error as above.
I would mention that in the Steam folder the SteamApps folder was in lowercase ie "steamapps" w/o quotes and there was no "common" folder inside it so i created it myself and inside "common" created the "CoDBO" folder.Thus the final path for BlackOps.exe is
I:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\CoDBO
Additionally i tried running the game from inside Steam but it failed too.
PS:I keep all the crack folders inside the game directory but i guess thats not a problem.
Let me know where am I going wrong.
The path is right. Everything you have done already is seems to be right. I must admit I have no idea Why the update won't work on u.
ReplyDeleteHowever, Update 1 is not that important unless you face crashes or laggs or else etc.
This update was released mainly for quad core issues and graphic laggs, If u r not encountering them I suggest you to play the game without it.
Or perhaps, try google, some other post on net which have posted this update would help u.
