hii man i need a help ..i just downloaded cod bo game and cracked with SKIDROW..so i dont use steams ..my problem is where is my save game files ..how do i save the game ..ples help me
ReplyDeleteDuring missions game won't save. You will have checkpoints during missions, If you quit game, You'll have to do the mission again!
ReplyDeleteGame saves once you beat a whole mission!
Save files are located in your
C:\Steam\SteamApps\Common\Call Of Duty Black Ops\players
Since you didn't use steam, locate your COD BO location and in it there will be a folder named 'players', that's you!
By the way, make sure you update your game as well! Skidrow got few bugs, those updates are also available in this site! :)

Are these files for any version of the game or after any patches or updates are installed. Current version is update number 6. Thanks, I tried to copy these over but when I went to "Mission Select" I only had the levels I had completed.

The game was played when only update 2 was released!
Try this, delete your saves and account settings and replace them with the given.
I recommend you to back up the originals in case there is a problem in update 6 using update 2 save files.
After doing that, now try mission select! Hopefully it will work now!

ReplyDeleteI tried reinstalling and using updates 2 & 3 then starting a new game on normal level. I then copied over the "saved game" files but no luck at all. I am guessing I would need to delete keys in registry to use your saved games but I'm not going to to that. Thanks anyway. I like your page.

ReplyDeleteMake sure to copy trhe save files and profile info as well.. And you have to delete your excisting account details before pasting these..(As I said earlier I recommend not to delete is, just move them to another location).. Many people has used this without any problems, surely the problem is in your end :)
Nope, COD games doesn't require alterations in registry, that is for Games For Windows LIVE based games..
Without starting a new game, copy my files (after moving out yours) and select from chapters! That's all :)
I think same instructions are given inside the RAR itself too! :)

My game was running well until the second last stage where it hanged. I have downloaded ur version as there wasn't much 2 play in the penultimate stage. So I thought of playing the last level with ur saved files but I can't locate any player folder inside my black ops folder. Where do I paste ur files........Cud u plz help?

ReplyDeleteIt should be normally appear on your black Ops folder (ex. Black Ops/players/profiles/..) If not how you saved thus far? Look closely you should have got this folder..If not re install and make a name without weird letters (like #$_) and play a complete mission then check!
