GfWL / X Live uses hi-protection to thier games, including corrupting other player's Save Files. This patch will fix that, and will allow you to use some cheating for games. (using some 3rd party files like saves)
Description:
Many coders which had worked with xlive-using games know that xlive.dll provides memory and code protections, so there are no ways to change main executable code. This asi plugin disables live code protections, so u can feel free with changing code of xlive games.
ASI Loader also can work with all dsound using games and applications.Tested only with xlive.dll v2.0.0687.0-3.1.99.0! If your GFWL auto updated than this it won't work!
IMPORTANT: You 'may' have to manually change codes in xlive.dll in XLive/GfWL games! Google for how to do that for your desired game! Not recommended if you have no idea in this business.
Use at your own risk. This will alter your GfWL/ Xlive accounts. There is no security risk of using this file. It will just disable your some protections on XLive/GfWL.
This requires a highly trained hacking and cheating experience on Games for Windows Live. Using the hacking tool by Noobs and Wannabie gamers are NOT recommended! This could FUCK up your GfWL client forever! There is no tutorial. We only provide the file! Like it or Leave it!
Installing:
ASI Loader must be installed (dsound.dll).
Copy *.asi file into the main game folder.

ReplyDeleteI think you are a playing a pirated game, If not; better send a feed back for Microsoft.
If yes,
1. Make sure your game is NOT a repack/Ripped or altered version. (To check that see installer/ or Image file 7GB+ etc.)
2. Make sure GfWL is installed properly. You can check that by running another GfWL game and see if it works or Go to Start-> Games for Windows Marketplace and see if it identify your profile and account.
3. Account must be OFFLINE created one! Otherwise yes it won't work for pirated games! Eventually it will lead you for a banned!
4. Try Uninstall GfWL and do another clean re-install from direct Microsoft website (Not from another site)
Hope that helped, and NO this post will not fix your problem. This is an hack for protection in GfWL which allow people to cheat in GfWL games.

ReplyDeleteThis hack can be only used for save file issues. Other than that it is useless. Try using Trainers if you like to alter your game. GTAIV does not use heavy protection on saves you can easily copy paste them and relaunch!
Kenji, i have my old save files from documents\eidos\batman arkham asylum\...etc but i don't have my old GFWL files in appdata\local\microsoft\Xlive, i have an offline GFWL account will this help fix the "save file is corrupt" error?, if you think so is there a tutorial for how to do it?

DeleteThis will stop all protection which uses by GFWL, only in the above mentioned version. YES, it will fix your issue. But you will need the exact version as mentioned. I don't think Windows underground tutorials are available anywhere. You need a friend or someone who knows this procedure.
You can try this way easier, apply THETA fix for any GFWL game (Which came close). This will stop GFWL from launching, you can now apply the saves and try. Personaly I don't know if this works for this game, since it's like 2 years I played it. But this works for Resident Evil : ORC.
The THETA fix worked but not with save files created by GFWL :(
