How to Install Kane & Lynch 2 - Dog Days
1.Install Steam by clicking on Setup. Also,it is very important to uninstall any previous versions of Steam if you had it prior to this installation
2.Install the game by using STEAMBACKUP (Which is not included in this post, it comes with Reloaded Release. We do not support piracy, this is a crack only recommended for legit players who wish to play it offline), and point the installation process to C:\Program Files\
3.Copy Crack contents to the installation directory (aforementioned C:\Program files\Kane and Lynch 2 - Dog Days\)
4.Do not try to play the game using as a steam application! Run KL2.exe!
Known Issues:
If you should encounter graphical problems and glitches in the game just update drivers for your graphics card and disable FULLSCREEN EFFECTS in the options of the game!
Win 7 users (both 32bit and 64 bit) has reported that they are having problems with the game, yeh you do!
Run game as an admin, and set compatibility to Win XP SP 3, now it should run fine!
If the game runs slow, turn off unnecessary graphic options (Shadows etc.)
I am playing it perfectly this way,therefore, you should be able too!!!

ReplyDeletei got a cheap copy of kane+lynch 2 from asia which came on 2 discs and just a bunch of files with no instructions. using the 'steambackup.exe' that was included, the game installed then cracked exactly as described above. it works. thx

ReplyDeleteThat error is not causing by the crack, it's causing by the Bink codec on your PC. THis can be easily fixed by downloading bink32.dll and copy it to your Windows!
My steambackup.exe file is not working when I try to start it,It shows message "Windows cannot access the specified device,path or file.You may not have appropriate permissions to access the item."Please help me with dis error...I tried to install it several times...!!

ReplyDeleteI guess You have the reloaded? Make sure your AV is stopped or exited completely while installing or mounting the image. And run as Admin. Also make sure if you use windows Vista/ Seven, UAC is given enough rights (good if it is disabled). Try them.

DeleteBut doesn't it run from steaminstall.exe? or both setups are same?

ReplyDeleteI meant the game has been updated from the initial release, so looking at your case I think this is not an initial release, which refers in this post. By looking I think it should be a repack or a ripped version of the game, which is utter mess. However I hope it'll work. Yes if the game has been updated you will, need a supporting crack for it. The initial or v.1.0 won't support your game if it has been updated.
