ok, my grandson has age of empires II, The Age of Kings and the box says for win 95,98 and NT but I have Win 7. Will this Win7 Playfix work with his copy, or only with the Gold Edition pictured above? Also, I assume I install the game then run the bat file prior to attempting to play the game ... please correct me if wrong.
ReplyDeleteMy apologies for the picture. I was too lazy to find the right one. Gold Edition was released by Microsoft with all expansions and plus some bonus maps!
ReplyDeleteHow ever this fix is not for that, you will need "Age Of Empires II" to use the fix! However, it's a very old game, designed for older windows sys.
I would recommend you to use compatibility mode on Win 7, if you still encounter any problems launching the game, even after use of this fix!
And for the final question, yah you are rite, Install, run fix that's all!
