Call of Duty 6 MW2 : Play multi player online as playing on LAN

If the pings are high find some friends and play LAN... instructions are below...

You need FRIENDS and a GOOD HOST!!

Files you'll need:

· Server Debug Archive

· Startup Crash fix alternative location

· alterIWnet client files & DLC files, if you want (This can be found on previous post)

Instructions

1) Download the files given above

1.1) Extract the archives

2) Go to Server Debug

and run the IWnetServer.exe on the host PC

3) Open alterIWnet.ini on all PCs

and change IP to the hosts one (e.g. 192.168.1.3)

3.1) You can change your nickname in the same file (nickname=...)

4) Start iw4mp.exe

5) Click Play and then Find games

6) Choose the game type you want to play

7) Afterwards all PCs need to search for the same gametype

and you'll end up in the lobby

8) Just play and have Fun!

Ps. Remember this won't drop your pings magically, it will lower your pings only if you get lower than 500 normally. After this you'll get about 160-100 pings from a Host that you got (-)500 pings earlier.

It is recommended not to use of torrent/active web pages/downloads during game play to get the lower your pings!
