1. Unpack release
2. Run acbrotherhood1.02update.exe
3. Install
4. Copy the cracked content from the SKIDROW folder to the main install folder and overwrite
5. Play the game!
FIXED NOTES:
Single player
- Fixes an issue that prevents user settings and game progress from being saved if the user's Windows login name contains unicode characters.
- Fixes an issue where users could not add friends whose name contains dot characters.
Multi player
- Changed network communication port from 1000 to 7917 in order to fix connection issues caused some ISPs' restrictions.
Note: You can't play Multi-Player with this crack, If you like it; BUY IT!

i use realtek sound card(AC 97).
directx version is 11.
i tried, deleting and reinstalling drivers
can u suggest me sme kind patch or smething..?

ReplyDeleteAs far as we know there is no sound problem in Assassin's Creed Brotherhood.
I have found these in google, try them..
The usual methods of solving game sound issues apply here.
-- Use the latest game patch
-- Update your sound card drivers
-- Run the game in Windows XP Compatibility mode
If that does not help, then use DXDIAG:
Step 1) Go to Start -> Run -- type in "DXDIAG" (without quotes)
Step 2) Click on the "Sound" tab and by the "DirectSound" button in the "DirectX Features" area slide the Hardware Sound Acceleration Level slider to the left -- from "Full acceleration" to "No acceleration"
An alternative to this method is:
Step 1) Go to My Computer -> Control Panel -> Sound and Audio Devices
Step 2) Under the Volume tab, click the "advanced" button in the "Speaker Settings" section
Step 3) You *can* try selecting your speaker setup as "Desktop stereo speakers" if it isn't already
Step 4) Go to the "Performance" tab and slide the hardware acceleration slider from Full to None and also try dragging the Sample rate conversion quality slider from "Best" to "Good"
I am having the same problem as paIN and can't find a fix that works - I've tried all of the stuff posted here. Also trying to install the 1st patch and getting an error message on install "could not find verification number". Suggestions?

ReplyDeleteDon't apply the crack, the update can be used for a fresh exe of ACB, If your version pre-cracked/Ripped/Repacked you may get the cannot retrieve version number error. As you can see, the updater can't find your version exe due to cracking. The exe file must be pure/fresh one o use updater. There is an update v.3 as well..Currently it is not posted in this site, try using that!
