The Backyard Spot: X Men Origins Wolverine (PC DVD)

“X Men Origins : Wolverine (In Hard and Normal mode). I haven’t played the game on Easy mode. Coz I don’t like being a pussy to play easy. So the under mentioned facts are played and done by me. And works 100% sure. There are glitches and some miss-parts which u can use to ur advantage. I have talked about the levels in my earlier post. And I told the gamers that I will post “how to defeat level bosses”..I will talk about every Level Major Boss, except DEADPOOL. I will post it separately, coz this post is TOO DAMN LONG!.

How to defeat Level Bosses…

There are lot of boss types in each level. But I will only tell u about guys that I had to worry about. Others I dnt think, they even match our game play techs; babies (: P).

· Lavatian (Giant lava rock look alike mutant)

Area of 1^st appearance : Temple location (End of 1^st visit to Logos, Nigeria)

Defeating Tips : If ur quick, ..run down the steps go left…activate farell senses u will see a statue with green colour. Go there activate use (C) . Push it in..U’ll find a hidden room with a dog tag guy. U can lock attack from this room.. without getting any ground attack..when u fall from the neck run back in. U can use the same technique once again in later fights. In case if ur not fast enough, the game will tell u “press shift and arrow keys to avoid being hit”..But it wont work as planed if ur playin in hard or normal. Coz the enemy intelligent level is pretty advanced in this levels. U will get a hit time to time, and u cant afford that. Specially in future levels. Tap arrow keys twice to an opposite direction of the creature. It will make u away. But do this at the right time. Other wise u’ll get a hit. And the right time is “when the giant gets its hands up” then its gonna slam onto the ground. So when hands go up. Make it quick!!!When its running toward u, when its 5-10 feet away do the tap. U’ll get away. When its throwing rocks at u..Do I really need to say ‘get the hell out’?

Further u advance the tougher this guys become, and in some levels there are two three of them. With other machine gunner enemies and machete soldiers. When this happen take the small guys out. Handle the big ones later.

· Victor Creed (Saber Tooth)

Area of 1^st appearance : Logon’s House (when Kyala and Logan walks back, victor attacks)

Defeating Tips : U have to defeat victor TWICE, so keep that in mind. The best tip I can give here is to block (Z) when victor attacks; and perform a counter attack. Press Z+Mouse 2 to perform a deadly attack (won’t do much damage when ur playin in Normal or Hard; It’ll hurt very wellJ).

When U get Out side (When Creed throws u out). U can use the environment to ur benefit. There are lot of traps and spikes. When Victor is paralyzed throw him (C) at a spike. It’ll cost him very much.

· Prototype Mutants (Giant Mutants and Gorilla look alike)

Area of 1^st appearance : In the power plant in the dam (Striker’s research facility)

Defeating Tips : They are pretty much like the lava mutants. Do as it says.

The hard part is when Agent Zero comes in he activates 2 and later 4 Prototype mutants at the base in the mountains. On the location where two of these shows up has a glitch. SO there is two ways to end this.

1. There will be a half ripped open door (steel railing/ with a hole on the surface of the door). If u jump there for a while u get to the other side. U don’t have to defeat these monsters. (I dnt kno this works in easy level, coz I didn’t played it on easy. But it works on Both Normal and Hard. So I guess it will work)

2. But if u have the balls u can defeat the both, well there is an easy way and hard way for that.

Easy Way : When u first came to that area, u must have seen the doors that enemy infantry comes out. Specially a door with a hooded roof. 4 steps and metal rail for that. To the side of it there is nothing other than the fence. Run there, Be there counter ur attack then strike. Coz the only thing these creatures can hit u with is the power slam. But they don’t use it often. So go there to get ur health back, and strike when time is right.

Hard Way : Battle like a man. Go to an end wall. Let the creatures ram in to the wall. By escaping using double side taps. Jump to its head and attack. Use the best mutaguns and Special killing shots to paralyze them. It will be hard to defeat, like this. But It 's possible.

On the location (Where u will see Agent Zero for the last time, coz after this he’s going to crash his chopper and Logan will kill him). Zero shoots at some mutants on some kinda cylinders, once they are shot they mutate to these creatures. And there is four of them. DO NOT go to the middle of the area. Or the other two will come out. It is much easier to handle two than four. There are two transformers on the sides of the building run behind them let the creatures attack it. And hurt themselves. When its no use do the old technique, Once killed Go for the other two. Do the same. Caution : Logan do get electrified and Zero shoots at Logan at all time. So move always.

Once this done Lock attack at the chopper. Then Put down the four choppers and kill Zero for good :D

· Mini Giant Robot

Area of 1^st appearance : In the mission where u need that hand to open a door, a scientist will activate this one (In Texas Research facility)

Defeating Tips : They are pretty much like the lava mutants and prototypes, but bigger. Do as it says. The only hard part is it will freezes u. Do the tapping to get free. And look for that flying basterds. Destroy them first. And just like before avoid getting hit and lock attack. Also u can back fire the missiles it’ll send u. It damages a lot. But don’t do that if ur not good in that. Coz two hits in a row. And u’ll be dead. So get close. Caution when ur too close : it will be impossible to get out from a freeze attack!. So act wisely!

· Mutant Exterminator (Giant of giants Robot)

Area of 1^st appearance : Rooftop at the Texas research facility

Defeating Tips : Ok! This is one of the biggest showdowns in the game (Oh yeh..Its getting much entertaining later)…When logon is on roof top. Robot; comes flying from around??..(How did it got out?)Anyway..Shows a cutscene when it walks by a electrified floor part it’ll goes for a shock. This is the only way to defeat it. So if ur playing in normal mode u’ll get about 5-7 enemies at a time (Oh yeh there will be more to worry about). If ur playing hard U’ll get about 10. So best thing to do is to ignore them. CAUTION : NOT KILLING THEM IS NOT A GOOD IDEA IF UR PLAYING HARD. COZ IF NUMBER OF THEM INCREASES, IT’LL BE A MATTER!BUT YET EVEN IN HARD U HAVE A 70% OF WINNING POSSIBILITY. I played it 1 time in hard 3 times in normal, and not even a once I died there. So its up to the player, to kill them or not (Kill them easily by letting them walk on electrifying platforms..But I would concentrate on the big guy. There are about 10 platforms of electricity all around . Once a each platform hits FIVE attacks it’ll deactivate permanently. So don’t get die at the last time. And like before u get a electric shock when ur on a platform. But u have to be on a platform to make the robot to get a chock. Once it shocked, Lock attack on the foot. Once ur on the foot. Quickly launch everything u have at it. Coz the robot will recover soon. It will take about 10 (minimum) in Normal mode ant 15-20 (minimum) in Hard mode). Once a movie shows that robot legs crashes it’ll fly. Logan will Jump on. And then, again u’ll have to fly and fight with the robot in the sky (Wow!!)…Then after several fights. It crash lands and Logan will make his head clear by going right through it.

· Bob (Team X fat Mutant)

Area of appearance : A Shopping Super Market

Defeating Tips : First, there is no point of lock attack on him. Even though u see the mark to perform it, he will counter it. At this moment I think u must be a good wolverine player. Must have skills above than 30?.. And good health?..Yeh hope so. Coz if not, u might get pass him..but that will not be enough to defeat DEADPOOL. So the best tip is to fight like hell with him. Then at a certain point of health of Bob he’ll throw u and will run at u. Jump away or escape. He seems tired. And now u can lock attack on Bob. Once ur on his back u can steer Bob. Avoid getting hit in side the market. Once the ride complete, Logan will cost much damage to Bob. Do this 4-5 times. And Bob goes down. After that he will tell u about gambit. And Logan kills Bob.

· Gambit

Area of 1^st appearance : Casino in Vegas

Defeating Tips : Well, U have to confront Gambit for more times than the previous bosses. The best tip for Gambit is to block when he attacks u. Block then counter it. Doing so will be the only way to make him fall. U also can use Power Drill and Claw Spin attack to make some damage. No use of normal attacking, coz gambit will block it. But that doesn’t mean u must avoid it. When Gambit fires energy bolt at Logan, deflect them by blocking. At last battle ur having with Gambit. U both will end up on a crane. Do not waste ur time on deflecting Gambit’s attack. Jump and Run forward, Jumping will save u from getting any hits. Going forward will end this crane stunt soon. When u get to a certain point, Gambit jumps on to a chopper. Then Run towards the choppers; try lock attack every step. Coz u dnt have much time. When the attack is possible, engage it. U can make him paralyze for sometime allowing u to lock attack and later at the final battle huge name board sign will fall on Gambit’s head by this. Getting him a pretty good damage. After a bit long battle. A cinematic will launch, abt ur victory.

Ok. They are the Main Bosses that u need to worry abt. Except in the “ISLAND” where Logan meets DEADPOOL and Stiker’s Last Stand. I will soon upload a complete walkthrough abt it. Hope this’ll help at least of of’ya. If have any suggestions or in-game tips ..Jus let me know abt it.
